The Anchored Behavior Analyst
6-Week Coaching Series
The Anchored Behavior Analyst is the signature wellness coaching program of the Behavior Analyst Wellness Institute. This highly requested series is designed specifically for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (Behavior Analyst), Registered Behavior Technicians (Registered Behavior Tech), Educators, and helping professionals working in demanding fields.
This six-week coaching experience addresses one of the most pressing needs in the field today: preventing burnout, restoring balance, and building sustainable careers while continuing to provide compassionate and effective care.
Through guided discussion, reflection, and practical strategies grounded in behavior analytic principles and whole-person wellness practices, participants develop tools that support both professional effectiveness and personal well-being.
Participation is intentionally limited to maintain a supportive and interactive learning environment. The program is offered twice per year with limited cohort enrollment.
Participants receive:
A guided program workbook with reflection exercises and practical strategies for each week
Selected research articles and book recommendations related to wellness, sustainable practice, leadership, and professional growth
The opportunity to earn ACE Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Program Curriculum
Week 1: Reconnecting With Purpose
Participants reflect on their professional values and what originally drew them to the field. Focus on clarifying priorities and identifying what a sustainable and fulfilling career looks like moving forward.
Week 2: Understanding Burnout in Helping Professions
Explore causes and early warning signs of burnout. Examine environmental demands, workload, and workplace variables contributing to chronic stress.
Week 3: Behavioral Self-Management
Apply behavior analytic principles to personal routines and habits. Includes self-monitoring, goal setting, reinforcement systems, and habit formation to improve sustainability.
Week 4: Stress Regulation and Resilience
Focus on emotional regulation, stress management, and resilience in demanding work environments.
Week 5: Balance, Boundaries, and Wellness
Explore ways to establish healthy professional boundaries while supporting wellness through sleep, nutrition, movement, and energy management.
Week 6: Anchoring Sustainable Practice
Integrate strategies learned throughout the program and develop a personalized plan for maintaining balance, well-being, and sustainable professional practice.
